Want The Opportunity To Follow The Best Of The Best? You Got It.

Ever feel like you were at a disadvantage because you don’t have all the resources you need?

More specifically you felt at a disadvantage because you didn’t have the right person leading you.

Maybe you’ve thought, If I had the best personal trainer then I would be in better shape physically.

Or if I had the best financial advisor, I would be in better shape financially.

And maybe you’ve said if I had access to the best spiritual leader, then my Christian walk would where it needs to be.

The good new is you have that opportunity right now.

The opportunity to follow the best

Matthew 4:19 Jesus said, “Come, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”

These are some statements that Jesus made to His disciples then, and it hasn’t changed today. Jesus is still saying the same thing. Come follow me.

You have the opportunity to follow and be mentored by the best there ever was and will be. You don’t have to settle for the next to best because of lack of resources or time. Once you repent and surrender your life to Jesus as lord, you have complete and full access to the throne room of heaven. If this sounds exclusive, I wrote about that HERE.

What does following the best look like

Here are a few examples you can see with His disciples. And He will do the same for you.

  1. He empowered them.
    • Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

  2. He taught them.
    • Luke 11:1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
  3. He sent them.
    • Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
  4. He provided for them.
    • Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
  5. He protected them.
    • John 17:12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

  6. He gave it all for them.
    • Luke 9:22 Jesus saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

The best part of all this is that when you follow the best, you become like the best.

You are who you follow. So, why not follow the best.
