1 step to getting more out of your day
Have you ever wished you could get more accomplished? Or maybe you’ve said I wish I could get more time in my day. Well there is one thing that can help you get both!
All you have to do is get up earlier! I know that sounds simple, but it’s not simplistic.
First off we can’t add more hours to our day, but what we can do is manage the time we have better. By getting up early we can give ourselves a little extra time to do those things that we put off because of lack of time. Think about it: If you haven’t had time to do your quiet time, you can get up 15 minutes earlier then you normally do. If you can’t find time to exercise, get up 25 minutes earlier then you normally do. On and on you could go down your want-to-do list and see how early you need to get up in order to work on it. Test it out and see how much more you can get accomplished!
A word of caution: As you try to put this into practice there needs to be balance. This is meant to be a tool to help you get more accomplished, not become a burden. So something simple that you can do to keep a good balance of sleep and awake time is to find ways to go to sleep a little earlier. So maybe instead of watching that next episode on Netflix, go to sleep a few minutes earlier! A balanced approach will help you not only get a little more time in your day, you will have the energy as well.
